Hey, Phoenicians! We’re wondering how many of you are participating/interested in participating in National Novel Writing Month this year.

It’s totally crazy (50,000 words in 30 days!) and totally fun (yay, caffeine!) and totally worth it. :)

Anyway, if we get enough participation, we’re thinking about hosting write-ins in which we basically gather every week and clack furiously away on our laptops and provide moral support for each other. We’re thinking about having them at Mission Coffee, but if you have a better suggestion, feel free to say so!

So, leave a comment (even if you’re not in Phoenix!) or send us an e-mail at phoenixmsj@gmail.com with:

2. Your NaNo username (Sign up here)
3. When you’re free for write-ins (we’re leaning toward Friday/weekend afternoons/evenings)

Even if you don’t have time to go to write-ins, go ahead and leave your username because we’d like to see how many MSJ students are involved in NaNoWriMo.

Be sure to tell your friends as well! It would be totally cool if we got school-wide participation. :)

Event Details:

We’ll be watching Amélie, which is rated R but is a fabulous movie. :) The movie lasts a little over two hours, but we will also be playing FUN, ice-breaking, totally non-awkward games.
