Hello, our lovely applicants!

Due to the postponement of homecoming week, we’ll have to push back interviews and such, as well.

Our fabulous bonding event, though, is still happening, so be on the lookout for our e-mail regarding that.

Otherwise, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope you enjoy homecoming! :)

Hey! Today was our second meeting of the year (: For those of you who couldn’t make it, here’s what we did:

1) Collected editor applications — email supplements to phoenixmsj@gmail.com! Also, if you couldn’t turn in your application today, you can still email it in until 11:59 of today (10/8).

2) Collected membership fees ($3) — you can continue to turn in membership fees to officers, at your interview (if you’re applying to be an editor), at our bonding session (on 10/24, more info below), or at our next meeting (most likely 11/5, stay tuned).

3) Interview times will most likely be the week after Homecoming (the week of 10/19), and it will extend to the next week if necessary. We’ll send out an email soon with the interview times, so keep checking your email. Editorship decisions will most likely be announced at our next meeting on Nov. 5, but once again, keep checking your email for more information.

4) Discussed our bonding session! Here’s what you need to know:
- Saturday 10/24 at Sarah’s house — we’ll email out information later
- 4 to 7 pm
- we’ll be watching Amelie! (NOTE: this movie is R-rated, so please make sure your parents are ok with it before you come)
- it’s a potluck, so please bring some food (the officers will have some prepared, of course)
- if you are a member, this is a nice bonding session to get to know everyone; if you are aspiring to be an editor, this is the perfect chance to let the officers see you in an informal setting; but most importantly, we hope everyone has fun (:

Where: P6 (Ms. Lindsey’s room)
Cost: $3.00 membership fee, if you desire.

Event Details: We’re going to talk and have fun. You can turn in your editor apps or just become a member (for only $3!).

Even if you don’t want to pay the fee just yet, you can let us know you want to be a member. But do note that you’ll miss out on all the awesome perks of being a member if you don’t pay. :/

Also: food. Most likely.
